BE THE BEST WE CAN BE

WE'RE BUILDING A STRONGER FUTURE ACROSS THE U.S. OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC MOVEMENT BY PROMOTING A CULTURE OF SAFETY, FAIRNESS, OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION.

In a time unlike any other in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic movements, Team USA’s presence at the postponed Tokyo 2020 Games was an embodiment of the resilience, humanity, achievement and diversity of athletes and our community.

In all Games, the USOPC and National Governing Bodies are dedicated to fiercely protecting athletes’ safety and rights. Over the past year, we worked together to continue building a culture of trust and creating an environment free from abuse. We also amplified athletes’ voices through efforts such as our reform work with the World Anti-Doping Agency and a groundbreaking rule permitting athletes to demonstrate at events, stemming from guidance provided by our athlete-led Council on Racial and Social Justice. And through our Athletes’ Advisory Council, we gave a voice to athletes’ concerns. With everything we did, we ensured athletes were at the center of all our decisions.

We aim to inspire future generations of Team USA athletes on the road to the LA28 Games and beyond. Through our partnerships with nearly 60 diverse National Governing Bodies and the athletes they represent, the USOPC is uniquely positioned to support Team USA every step of the way no matter the challenges.
